My daughter and our cats poses in front of my Panasonic DMC LC1. The Vario-Summicron lens from Leica that are mounted on this older camera does it so well. Although a now elderly camera in modern times, I like the feeling of the pictures it produces and stick to using it. Not a fast camera at all, in contrary it works slow but this also the case with other cameras alike; Leica, Fuji X100 e.g.

It isn’t about speed, but about watching and capture moments foreseen. Old school photography in contradiction to capturing speedy scenes of news and sports i.e. Here it is about framing life, slowing it down, watching, learning, and maybe see new moments worth a thought.

Here a few scenes with cats, relaxing and slowing down.
